Snow Removal Sidewalk Crew
Pay: $23–$30 per hour
If You Don’t Mind the Cold and You Don’t Make Excuses, Keep Reading.
We’re looking for dependable, hard-working people to join our snow removal sidewalk crew in the Grand Rapids area.
This is physical work.
You’ll be outside in the middle of winter, sometimes for hours at a time, clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, entrances, walkways, and other pedestrian areas.
It’s cold. It’s tiring. And sometimes it’s going to suck.
But when the storm is over, our customers need to know that their properties are safe and completely taken care of.
That’s where you come in.

- Are willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts during snow events
- Are dependable when things get difficult
- Are willing to help their teammates

The Standard
- We don’t want someone who walks past a patch of snow because “nobody will notice.”
- We want someone who notices it because that’s not how they want to leave the property.
- Our standard is simple:
- Do it right. Do it completely. Don’t make us come back.
- The details matter in snow removal. A missed sidewalk, icy entrance, or pile of snow left where it shouldn’t be can create problems for our customers and our entire team.

- Aren’t dependable
- Frequently call off
- Don’t like physical work
- Need someone watching you to stay productive
- Get frustrated when conditions are difficult

Experience
- Snow removal or landscaping experience is helpful but not required.
- We’ll teach you the equipment and process.
- What we can’t teach is work ethic, reliability, and personal responsibility.
Why Torchwood Landscaping?
- We’re building more than a seasonal labor force. We’re building a team of people who can be trusted.
- If you’re looking for a winter job where you can work hard, learn, contribute to a team, and prove that you’re someone people can count on, apply today.
- When the storm hits, we show up.
If you’re ready to work hard, learn a trade, and build a career — apply now.
Snow Removal Skid Steer Operator
Pay: $28–$35 per hour
Running a skid steer during a snowstorm takes more than knowing how to move snow.
You need to be able to operate equipment carefully, work efficiently, understand where snow needs to go, protect curbs and landscaping, and pay attention to the details that keep us from having to come back later.
Most importantly, you have to show up.
When a storm hits, our customers are counting on us. That means we’re counting on you.
Torchwood Landscaping is looking for a dependable, experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our snow removal team in the Grand Rapids area.

- Because the goal isn’t to have to come back tomorrow and fix what we missed tonight.
This Job Isn’t for Everyone
- If you don’t like the cold, this isn’t for you.
- If you aren’t dependable, this isn’t for you.
- If you need someone constantly telling you what to do, this probably isn’t for you.
